FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! I LOVE to travel. I have a passport and am available pretty much anywhere you want to go. I can customize an awesome destination package for wherever you'd like to go!
Will there be a second shooter?
Yes! I have a second shooter for all full day weddings.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
This really depends on what else I have going on that day and if I need to get to another session. You are always welcome to ask, but generally I appreciate a little notice. If I can, I certainly will extend time for you for an extension fee.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with a full frame Canon cameras. I've usually got at least a few lenses or cameras strapped to me for efficiency while shooting weddings.
I usually shoot with on camera flash for receptions, unless a venue or request necessitates off-camera gear.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I don't require it, but I recommend it just for the sake of quality and convenience for you. Every gallery has a professional printing option where you can simply add images to your cart after selecting how you would like them printed. My lab will ship right to your door, and a small percentage of your order comes back to me - so you're continuing to support small business as opposed to services like Shutterfly.
I do prefer to be able to control the quality of what ends up on the wall to make sure it holds up to my standards. Professional quality prints are an added investment for sure, but totally worth it in my opinion.
Do you charge for travel?
It depends how far you are from my home base in Dublin, Ohio. I typically don't charge for travel in Central Ohio. I may add a small fee for gas to the Cleveland and Cincinnati areas.
I travel happily to any location for $0.30/mile for driving distance, or whatever flights and hotel/air bnb stays end up being. Don't worry, I fly coach!
Are you LGBTQ friendly?
Yes. We do NOT tolerate hate over here. I celebrate love. That's all.
What happens if the weather is bad the day of our session?
90% of sessions are shot on location, outdoors, in natural light. This leaves us a little vulnerable to the whims of the weather. Usually, we will simply play it by ear and reschedule if the weather is too bad to go out at our session time. I do schedule rain dates in addition to initial dates at booking with a slightly higher deposit.
